PRN 1 (ПРН 1) Evaluate own educational, scientific and professional activities, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prior to taking this course, students must have successfully completed the courses General, Age and Pedagogical Psychology, Psychology of Higher Education, Higher Education Pedagogy and Teacher's Pedagogical Skills, Methods of Teaching Turkish in Higher Education, and a practical course in First Oriental (Turkish) Language and Literature. Know the theoretical basis of organising students' learning and cognitive activities. Possess elementary skills of cognitive and professional activity, culture of thinking, its general laws; scientific research and information management; critical attitude to the analysed phenomena; use of foreign language professional information sources; interaction and cooperation in learning in search situations.
Course content
The purpose of industrial (assistant) practice is to improve and consolidate theoretical knowledge in the conditions of a higher education institution, to form in masters on the basis of theoretical knowledge in special disciplines, psychology, methods of teaching languages and literatures in higher education practical professional skills in modern conditions of a higher education institution; students' awareness of the practical significance of this knowledge; mastery of modern methods, forms, techniques of organising the educational process, methods of preparing and conducting lectures, seminars and practical classes in the speciality; fostering the need for systematic replenishment, improvement and creative application of the acquired knowledge in practical activities. Pedagogical tasks are aimed at developing students' practical skills and abilities to organise the educational process, as well as at consolidating the ability to analyse the results obtained with the subsequent possibility of their correction and self-correction.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Participation in the orientation conference, familiarisation with the specifics of the department's work, with the plans and curricula of the teachers, the class schedule, and other working documents of the department. Attendance and analysis of lectures or practical classes of the department's teachers. Conducting trial seminars or practical classes in the speciality, improving the ability to conduct self-analysis of classes. Attendance, observation and analysis of classmates' lessons. Preparation of reporting documentation.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills), which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Evaluation of work during the internship: 1. Participation in the orientation conference and work planning: 10 - 20 points. 2. Visiting and analyzing the classes of the department's teachers: 5 - 10 points. 3. Conducting trial seminars or practical classes in the specialty, improving the ability to self-analyze the classes: 5 - 10 points. 4. Detailed plan-concept of the test lesson, conducting a test lesson: 10 - 20 points. 5. Implementation of the plan of assistant practice: 5 - 10 points. 6. Preparation of a written report: 7 - 10 points. 7. Defense of reporting materials: 15 - 20 points.
