Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The preparation of the master's thesis takes place in both face-to-face and distance formats. Depending on the situation, student interaction with the supervisor and the defense can be conducted in person or online through video conferences on platforms like Zoom or Skype. The presentation time for the defense is 10 minutes, and the discussion time is 15 minutes per student. The supervisor provides guidance and consultations to the student, and a pre-defense is included as a form of work approval, consisting of a presentation and discussion.
Assessment methods and criteria
The grade for the master's thesis is determined based on the evaluation of the supervisor, the evaluation of the reviewer and the assessment of the defense of the thesis. The maximum number of points for the evaluation forms is 100, and the minimum is 60. The supervisor evaluates the master's thesis according to the criteria specified in Table 1 of the program. The grade is then converted from a 100-point scale to a 25-point scale by multiplying it by a coefficient of 0.25. The reviewer evaluates the master's thesis based on the criteria provided in Table 2 (grade conversion coefficient from a 100-point scale to a 30-point scale is 0.3). The defense is assessed according to the criteria specified in Table 3. Each member of the Examination Commission evaluates the defense on a 100-point scale. Subsequently, the arithmetic mean grade is calculated on a 100-point scale and converted to a 45-point scale (coefficient of 0.45).
