Learning outcomes
Use conceptual and specialized knowledge and understanding of current problems and achievements of selected areas of modern theoretical and experimental physics to solve complex problems and practical problems. Conduct experimental and theoretical research in physics, analyze the results in the context of existing theories, draw reasoned conclusions (including an assessment of the degree of uncertainty) and suggestions for further research. To carry out the phenomenological and theoretical description of the studied physical phenomena, objects and processes.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the legal documents governing the activities of the base of practice; safety rules, procedure for performing practice tasks; select, systematize, develop and use modern scientific literature on nuclear physics
Course content
The content of research and production practice is to acquaint students with the methodology of scientific research, specific theoretical and experimental methods of studying nanomaterials, which are at the departments, in leading research institutions, laboratories, which will be used in the performance of the master's thesis. The purpose of the discipline is to form students' skills in working with specific methods of research, processing and interpretation of empirical data, search, processing and analysis of information from various sources, mastering some approaches, techniques, methods of scientific researches, practical acquaintance with a technique of of scientific research in nuclear energy, ability to present results scientific research.

Assessment methods and criteria
The form of the final control of the success of passing scientific and industrial practice in nuclear energy is a differentiated test. The means of diagnosing the progress of education are the analysis of the results of scientific and industrial work of students, which are presented at a meeting of the department. Evaluation of the results of the practice is carried out by the head of the practice on a 100-point scale and is approved at a meeting of the department.
