Learning outcomes
PLO 3. Demonstrate knowledge of theories, methods and functions of management, modern concepts of leadership. PLO 4. Demonstrate skills to identify problems and justify management decisions. PLO 5. Describe the content of the functional areas of the organization. PLO 8. Apply management methods to ensure the effectiveness of organizations PLO 9. Demonstrate skills of interaction, leadership, teamwork PLO 11. Demonstrate skills of situation analysis and communication in various areas of the organization PLO 12. Assess the legal, social and economic consequences of the organization PLO 14. Identify the causes of stress, adapt yourself and team members to a stressful situation, find ways to neutralize it. PLO 17. Perform research individually and / or in a group under the guidance of a supervisor.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Introduction to University Studies", "Management", "History of Management", "Economic Theory", "Macroeconomics", "Microeconomics", "Statistics for Economists". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of management, macro- and microeconomics, economic theory, finance. 3. Be able to process statistical data and analyze statistical information. 4. Have basic skills: using Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Course content
The course contains one content module: "Applied aspects of the formation and interaction of control and managed subsystems in modern organizations." The module examines communication in management, the image of the manager as a business person, ethics and etiquette of business communication manager, managerial work and manager, forms of managerial influence: leadership, influence and power, management styles, conflict and change management, organizational culture as a management method, efficiency control systems.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, independent work, consultations, individual and team creative tasks, analysis of problem situations, creating video patches and their presentation.
Assessment methods and criteria
Current assessment: (max. points 60 / min. points 36) 1. Survey and consideration of situational tasks (LO 1.1-1.3 .; 2.1-2.4; 3.1-3.3; 4.1-4.2) - 40 points / 24 points; 2. Independent work - individual tasks (LO 1.1-1.3 .; 2.1-2.4; 3.1-3.3; 4.1-4.2) - 20 points / 12 points. Final assessment in the form of an exam.
