Learning outcomes
PLO 4. Demonstrate skills to identify problems and justify management decisions. PLO 7. Reveal skills in organizational design. PLO 8. Apply management methods to ensure the effectiveness of organizations of various types of economic activity. PLO 11. Demonstrate skills of situation analysis and communication in various areas of the organization. PLO 12. Evaluate the legal, social and economic consequences of the functioning of the organization.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: basics of economic theory, macro- and microeconomics, administration and management theory, enterprise economics; main principles of company functioning. 2. Have skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical data, work with normative and legal base and internal documentation of the company.
Course content
The conceptual principles of organizational design; the main stages of the process of organizational design and rationalization of organizational systems; factors influencing the choice of organizational solutions are disclosed. The methodological principles, principles and methods of work design in an organization; evaluation of the effectiveness of organizational systems are explored. Practical aspects of the formation of organizational structures of management; structuring organizational systems; methods of building organizational structures; basic organizational documents; organizational change management and organizational development of the enterprise; organizational culture design are considered.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, independent work, consultations, individual project implementation, situation analysis, creative tasks
Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral questioning, discussion, seminar work - 10 points / 6 points; 2. Solution of practical situations, cases, calculation and analytical tasks - 20 points / 12 points; 3. Testing - 10 points / 6 points; 4. Modular control work (2 MCWs, 5 points each max) - 10 points / 6 points; 5. Independent work (complex of individual and group works according to the defined list of topics) - 30 points / 6 points; 6. Final control work - 20 points / 12 points. The final assessment in the form of a pass-fail assessment.
