Learning outcomes
LO04. To use information technologies, cartographic and geo-information models in the branches of the subject area of geographical sciences.
LO06. Determine the main characteristics, processes, history and composition of the geographical envelope and its components.
LO07. Apply models, methods and data of natural and social sciences, information technologies, etc. when studying the formation and development of objects and processes of the geographical envelope.
LO15. Know and explain changes in the geographical envelope from the standpoint of the concept of sustainable development.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the discipline "Meteorology" and "Meteorological research"; 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of atmospheric processes and phenomena.
Course content
The study discipline "Climate of Ukraine" is one of the components of the comprehensive training of bachelors from the "Natural Geography" educational program. In the process of studying the discipline, the main climate-forming factors and processes and the main features of the climate regime are considered, in particular, the physical conditions of formation, repeatability and the main features of the spatio-temporal distribution of certain meteorological values and phenomena on the territory of Ukraine.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of individual work, essay, presentation, test, blitz survey, exam. The recommended minimum for admission is 36 points. For students who scored a total of less than 36 points (recommended minimum), writing essays on missed or insufficiently mastered topics is a mandatory condition for admission to the credit. The final evaluation in the form of credit is conducted in written format. The maximum number of points on the test is 40 points, the minimum number of points added to semester points is 24.
