Learning outcomes

PR15. Apply in professional activities methods for determining the structural and functional characteristics of biological systems at different levels of the organization.
PR16. Choose methods, algorithms for planning and conducting field, laboratory, clinical and laboratory research, including mathematical methods and software for research, processing and presentation of results.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Bioorganic Chemistry", "Biochemistry", "Immunology", "Molecular Biology"
2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of molecular biology, biochemistry and related disciplines, work with scientific and methodological literature.
3. Have basic skills in the use of biological material, laboratory equipment and reagents used in research laboratories.
Course content
The discipline "Laboratory Workshop on Biochemistry" is aimed at developing students' skills and abilities necessary for planning and conducting experimental research in biochemical laboratories and interpretation of the results. The discipline forms the basic skills of working with biological material and is aimed at mastering the methods of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and polymerase chain reaction.
