Prerequisites and co-requisites
The program is based on the fact that English language training in the Free Economic Zone begins with a minimum level B1 according to CEFR and ends with a final oral written examination, focused on its requirements for the level of independent user (B1 + / Strong Threshold) at the end of the 4th semester.
Course content
Realization of the purpose of discipline "Foreign language (English)" is result of complex interaction of four components:
1) English-language communicative competence involves the development of skills and abilities in the main types of speech activities, including reception, production, interaction and mediation in both written and oral forms;
2) socio-cultural competence refers to the ability to apply a set of sociolinguistic, regional and intercultural knowledge to achieve understanding between representatives of different societies;
3) pragmatic competence is related to the functional use of linguistic means;
4) professionally oriented communicative competence is the ability to use students' professional skills and knowledge to solve general professional problems in English.

1. Modular tests (one remote): PH 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 3.2 - 10/5 points.
2. Tests of current control (remotely) :: РН 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2– 3/1 points.
3. Phonetic, grammatical, lexical exercises: PH 1.1, 1.2 - 2/1 points.
4. Exercises for spelling and punctuation, exercises for the formation of socio-cultural competence: PH 1.3, 1.4 - 2/1 points.
5. Exercises for teaching reception, products, interaction and mediation in oral and written forms: PH 3.1 - 13 / 6.5 points.
Final assessment: in the form of an exam
