Learning outcomes Know: features of the subject "Religious ethics and axiology", its place in the system of humanitarian knowledge; the concept of the essence of morality and the basis of religious ethics and moral values; basic ethical concepts of national and world religions, traditions of spiritual experience and types of ascetic practices; To be able to: possess the categorical apparatus of religious ethics and axiology, analyze the ethical aspects of the phenomena of religiosity, have a holistic view of the religious motives of behavior; autonomy and responsibility: to demonstrate the ability to independently search and critically process literature on course issues, to be fluent in the methods of processing, analysis and synthesis of scientific information; Justification of the need for tolerant perception of social, cultural and personal differences

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites and additional requirements 1. Know: the basics of philosophical knowledge and the history of religion, the categorical apparatus of ethics, fundamental theoretical problems of the study of morality, as well as applied aspects of ethics that contribute to the development of a general culture of socialization of the individual, attachment to ethical values. 2. Be able to understand the value base of the religious picture of the world, analyze ethical aspectsreligious phenomena, to have a holistic view of the motives of religious behavior. 3. To have the skills of analyzing religious, theological and philosophical texts related to ethical issues, to have the skills of ethical analysis, evaluation and forecasting of the modern spiritual socio-cultural situation, processing and visualization of sociological and other data, design and presentation of data using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).
Course content
Content of the educational program CONTENT MODULE 1 "Theoretical and methodological foundations of religious studies" Topic 1. Axiological dimensions of a person's moral life. The main categories of secular and religious ethics and their analysis in the history of ethical teachings. Topic 2. History of moral principles: Talion – The Golden Rule of Morality – The Commandment of Love – Kant's Categorical Imperative. Topic 3. The category of sin in religious ethics. The problem of theodicy. CONTENT MODULE 2 "History of World Religions" Topic 4. Chinese religious and philosophical ethics. Topic 5. Morality and ethics of Hinduism and Buddhism. Topic 6. Moral principles of Judaism. Topic 7. History and role of moral values of Christianity. Topic 8. Moral values of Islam. Topic 9. The idea of the heart in Ukrainian philosophy

Assessment methods and criteria
Methods and criteria of assessment – semester evaluation (MAX – 80 points / MIN – 48 points): 1. Performance of practical (seminar) classes - max. 35 points / min. 21 points. 2. Control works - max. 20 points / min. 12 points (two modular test papers) 3. Independent work - max. 5 points / min. 3 points 4. Individual analytical work - mach. 20 points / min. 12 points. - final assessment Final control is carried out in the form of a written test, which is estimated at a maximum of 20 points and is conducted at one of the last practical classes in the discipline. The final grade for the discipline is assigned to the student based on the results of work during the semester as the sum of points received during the academic semester, including points received for independent work and final control work.
