Learning outcomes
Achievement by students of such competencies, skills and abilities as: the ability to generate new ideas in solving problems of civil law regulation of real and inheritance relations; the ability to justify and motivate their legal decisions, to give them detailed arguments; the ability to make decisions in situations requiring systematic, logical and functional interpretation of the rules of real and inheritance law, as well as understanding the peculiarities of the practice of their application, the ability to adapt and act in a new situation.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main aspects of historical formation and development of property and inheritance law in Ukraine, the legal nature of property and inheritance rights, the basic principles of their implementation and methods of protection, literary sources on property and inheritance law, acts of civil law of Ukraine governing property and inheritance relations, and existing case law for resolving civil disputes in these areas. Be able to assess and determine the role and objectives of property and inheritance law of Ukraine, to distinguish property and inheritance rights from other types of civil rights, to give them legal characteristics. Have basic skills in working with educational and legal literature, the use of scientific methods of knowledge and legal methods of resolving controversial practical situations in the field of property and inheritance law.
Course content
The forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting an in-depth legal analysis of the provisions of real and inheritance law of Ukraine, acquiring practical skills in solving real-life situations, their correct legal interpretation, and developing proposals for improving current legislation. The course provides for an intensive study of real and inheritance law by students comparing its provisions with the relevant provisions of civil laws and doctrines of other developed countries, as well as its interaction with international legal norms.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-studying work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria
In seminar classes, the current control of a student's knowledge of the discipline includes: classroom performance - from 8 to 12 points; additions to the speech - from 4 to 8 points; essential questions to the speakers (discourse) - from 2 to 4 points; reports and research papers - from 5 to 9 points; solving a case - from 5 to 7 points. The following are subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the answer; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in class; results of homework. Students may make up seminars missed for valid reasons. A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final control may not be admitted to the final assessment. The final assessment is a test (with the possible use of information and communication technologies) (maximum score - 60).
