Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the main provisions of the modern doctrine of civil law in the field of protection of civil rights and interests, the main value guidelines that underlie the general principles of modern private law, legal sources of civil law, existing judicial practice of dispute resolution, special scientific literature, the recommended list of which is contained in this curriculum. 2. be able to freely operate with the conceptual and categorical apparatus in discussing and resolving problem situations; apply the rules of law in the field of protection of civil rights and interests, give a legal assessment of specific situations and a detailed legal argument to determine the method of protection. 3. Possess basic skills in drafting court documents and using legal methods to resolve incidents arising in the field of private law, taking into account the legal positions of the Supreme Court and the practice of the ECHR.
Course content
The forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting an in-depth legal analysis in the field of protection of civil rights and interests, acquiring practical skills in solving complex legal problems, finding fair and legal ways to solve them, applying modern educational methods and technologies, as well as developing and teaching special disciplines in educational institutions. The course of the discipline provides for an intensive study of the methodology of protection of subjective civil rights and interests by students comparing its provisions with the relevant provisions of civil legislation of the past, as well as with the practice typical for this institution in developed countries.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-study work of the student on the basis of mastering of court cases, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher
Assessment methods and criteria
The minimum score to be obtained by a student on the relevant assessment forms during the semester is 24 points. The maximum score that a student can receive as a result of studying during the semester is 40 points. If the student has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points), the teacher who conducted the seminar classes and accepted the workshops addresses the Director of the Institute of Law with a submission in which he or she records the student's failure to fulfill the individual curriculum. Based on the results of the final form of control (an exam in the form of an interview with the possible use of information and communication technologies), a student can receive a maximum of 60 points.
