Learning outcomes
Students' achievement of such competencies as:
ability to apply general and special civil knowledge in the theory of banking transactions in the practical field of banking services;
ability to identify, pose and solve problems of civil law regulation of the bank-client relationship;
ability to develop projects of bank transactions;
ability to make informed decisions on the application of civil law in resolving controversial issues that arise in consumers of banking services;
ability to evaluate the latest legal banking tools.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main aspects of the formation and development of the civil law institution of banking transactions in Ukraine, features of the classification and content of banking transactions, their legal nature; literature sources on the problems of legal provision of banking services, acts of civil law governing the relations of participants in relevant services and the practice of resolving disputes between banks and their customers.
Be able to assess and determine the role and objectives of the institute of banking transactions, to distinguish between types of banking transactions, to give a legal description of individual banking transactions.
Have basic skills in preparing a draft banking transaction taking into account the peculiarities of the practical situation and with the help of legal methods to resolve disputes arising in the field of banking services.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting legal analysis of civil transactions used in the practice of banks and studying theoretical and practical issues concerning the functioning of the banking system of Ukraine and the provision of relevant services by banks.
Within the framework of the discipline the general characteristic of contractual obligations in the sphere of banking activity is studied; legal regulation of settlement relations and currency transactions; legal nature and characteristics of bank account agreements, bank deposits, credit agreements, agreements related to the circulation of securities in the field of banking; description of other banking operations and services.
The course of the discipline involves in-depth study by students of current legislation of Ukraine in the field of banking services, legal literature, basic concepts and special terminology.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, individual assignments, express questioning, abstracts, development of a bank transaction project, self-study work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher
Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum final grade for this discipline can be 100 points. A student can receive a maximum of 60 points in the test, to which are added the points received by the student during seminars. To obtain an overall positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the test cannot be less than 36 points. If a student scores less than 36 points on the test, the latter are not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points received during the semester), "0" is put in the "points for the test" column in the transcript, and only the number of points received during the semester is transferred to the "final grade" column.
The student's knowledge at the test is assessed by evaluating his or her answers to the teacher's questions.
