Learning outcomes

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the current family law of Ukraine and foreign countries, in particular, the Family Code of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Private International Law", special scientific literature, the recommended list of which is contained in the curriculum, as well as case law on family disputes; Be able to freely operate with the conceptual and categorical apparatus in discussing and solving problem situations; apply rules in the field of regulation of family relations, including those complicated by a foreign element, draft family law agreements and procedural documents. Have basic skills in drafting court documents and using legal methods to resolve disputes arising from violations of family rights.
Course content
The forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting an in-depth legal analysis of the provisions of family law of Ukraine, acquiring practical skills by students to solve problems related to the implementation of procedural functions of law enforcement agencies, substantiating legal positions at various stages of law enforcement, as well as integrating the necessary knowledge and solving complex problems of law enforcement in various fields of professional activity. The course of the discipline involves intensive study of advanced techniques in the process of lawmaking and law enforcement of family law institutions.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-studying work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher
Assessment methods and criteria
The minimum score to be obtained by a student on the relevant assessment forms during the semester is 24 points. The maximum score that a student can receive as a result of studying during the semester is 40 points. If a student does not reach the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points), the teacher who conducted the seminar classes and accepted the workshops addresses the Director of the Institute of Law with a submission in which he or she records the student's failure to fulfill the individual curriculum. Based on the results of the final control form, a student can receive a maximum of 60 points. Final assessment: written or oral examination (with the possible use of information and communication technologies)
