Learning outcomes
Students' achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as: ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis, regarding financial services in the civil law of Ukraine; conduct research on situations at the appropriate level and make informed decisions on financial services; ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources; the ability to use scientific theories and concepts, as well as acquired practical knowledge in conducting research in the field of financial services and interpret the results of scientific research, taking into account the use of interdisciplinary and comparative legal approaches; the ability to communicate to professionals and non-professionals in the field of payment services information, ideas, the content of problems and the nature of optimal solutions with proper argumentation.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main aspects of the historical formation and development of the civil law institution of financial services, the basic principles of the financial services market, acts of civil law of Ukraine and the EU governing financial services and existing case law on dispute resolution in this area. Be able to provide a legal assessment of the activities of entities in the field of financial services, determine their goals and objectives in terms of civil law of Ukraine, to distinguish financial services from other types of services, to give them legal characteristics. Analyze the prospects of legal regulation and adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the law of the European Union in the field of financial services by receiving the main acquisitions of EU law
Course content
Teaching methods and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting legal analysis of financial services as an institution of civil law and problematic issues arising in various sectors of the financial market, studying theoretical and practical aspects of the emergence (termination), implementation and protection of consumer rights services and professional entities in the relevant market. Within the framework of the discipline the general characteristics of financial services, the subject composition of the financial ecosystem, the scientific and conceptual apparatus inherent in financial services markets, legal regulation of civil relations in various areas of financial services, taking into account domestic law and EU law for Ukraine to enter the Single Market for Financial Services. The course of the discipline provides in-depth study by students of current legislation of Ukraine and EU Directives on the main activities in the field of financial services.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, independent work of the student on the basis of mastering of court cases, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher
Assessment methods and criteria
In the classroom, the current control of the student's knowledge includes: performance in the classroom - from 5 to 7 points; addition to the performance - from 1 to 4 points; significant questions to the speakers (discourse) - from 1 to 3 points; reports and scientific works, essays - from 5 to 7 points; solving the incident - from 2 to 5 points. Subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the answer; activity when discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; homework results, test results. Seminar classes missed for valid reasons by a student can be a practice. A student who has not reached the minimum level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that can be assessed during the final control may not be allowed to the final assessment. Final assessment: offset (in the form of an interview with the possible use of information and communication technologies)
