Learning outcomes
Achievement of various competencies by students, in particular, the ability to develop abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis; skills in using information and communication technologies to acquire general and special civil law knowledge of the theory and practice of property law; the ability to exercise their rights and obligations as participants in property relations based on the values of civil society, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of human and citizen in Ukraine.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the main aspects of the historical formation and development of property law in Ukraine, the legal nature of property rights, the basic principles of their implementation and manners of protection, literary sources on property law, acts of civil legislation of Ukraine regulating relations in rem, and the existing judicial practice of resolving civil disputes in this area. To be able to evaluate and define the role and tasks of the property law of Ukraine, to distinguish property rights from other types of civil rights, to give them a legal description. To possess basic skills of working with educational and regulatory literature, applying scientific methods of cognition and legal methods of resolving controversial practical situations in the field of property law.
Course content
The forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting a legal analysis of the provisions of the property law of Ukraine and problematic issues related to their application, studying theoretical and practical aspects of the emergence (termination), exercise and protection of property rights. The discipline examines the main provisions of the world doctrines of property law, the general characteristics of property rights, the legal regulation of civil relations in which these rights are exercised, as well as the peculiarities of protecting such rights in the civil law of Ukraine. The course provides for an in-depth study of the current legislation of Ukraine in the field of property law.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-studying work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria
At seminars ongoing performance evaluation of the student's knowledge of the discipline includes: 1. class presentation - from 8 to 12 points; 2. additions to the presentation - from 4 to 8 points; 3. essential questions to the speakers (discourse) - from 2 to 4 points; 4. reports and scientific papers - from 5 to 9 points; 5. solving a case study - from 5 to 7 points; During the current control of seminar classes, the following are subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated by the student in the answer, activity in discussing seminar issues of the seminar class, systematic work in classes, the results of completing homework. The final grade for the academic discipline is formed by adding the number of points obtained during two semesters and the number of points obtained in the final form of control (test), and such a sum of points cannot be less than 60 points.
