Learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding of civil law in various aspects of its study and research; the ability to learn and master modern knowledge of civil law
through the prism of its legal institutions; the ability to apply knowledge of the tasks, principles and doctrine of national law, the content of legal institutions of civil law; knowledge and understanding of the peculiarities of the implementation and application of substantive and procedural law in the implementation and protection of civil rights.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the general provisions of civil law; Be able to assess and determine the role and objectives of civil law of Ukraine,
distinguish civil rights from other types of subjective rights, give them legal
characteristic. Have the skills of practical application of the provisions of the Civil Code of Ukraine and other normative acts of civil legislation.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at studying the institutions of contract law (general provisions on obligations, general provisions of the contract), systems of contractual and non-contractual obligations (contracts of sale, gift, rent, hire, contract, transportation, storage, in the field of disposal of intellectual property rights, banking transactions, etc.), legal institutions of inheritance law.

Lectures, seminars, self-studying student work.
Assessment methods and criteria
At the seminars, the current control of the student's knowledge in the academic discipline includes: performance in the classroom - from 5 to 7 points; addition to the performance - from 1 to 4 points; significant questions to the speakers (discourse) - from 1 to 3 points; reports and scientific works - from 5 to 7 points; solving the case - from 2 to 5 points;
two final (intermediate control/modular) control works - from 5 to 7 points for each (total: from 10 to 14 points).
Subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the answer; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; homework results.
A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final control may not be allowed to final assessment.
The final assessment of the student's knowledge takes place during the written exam (the maximum score is 60).
