Learning outcomes
Achievement by students of such competencies, skills and abilities as:
ability to think abstractly, analyze and synthesize; skills in using information and communication technologies to acquire general and special civil law knowledge in the theory and practice of property law; ability to exercise their rights and obligations as participants in property relations based on the values of civil society, the rule of law, human and civil rights and freedoms in Ukraine.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the main aspects of the historical formation and development of property law in Ukraine, the legal nature of property rights, the basic principles of their implementation and methods of protection, literary sources on property law, acts of civil legislation of Ukraine regulating property relations, and the existing judicial practice of resolving civil disputes in this area. Be able to evaluate and define the role and tasks of the law of property of Ukraine, distinguish property rights from other types of civil rights, and give them a legal description. Possess basic skills of working with educational and regulatory literature, applying scientific methods of cognition and legal methods of resolving controversial practical situations in the field of property law.
Course content
The forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at the achievement of various competencies by students, in particular, to form the student's ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis; skills in the use of information and communication technologies to acquire general and special civil law knowledge of the theory and practice of property law; the ability to exercise their rights and obligations as participants in property relations on the basis of the values of civil society, the rule of law, human rights and freedoms.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-study work of the student on the basis of mastering of court cases, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher
Assessment methods and criteria
In the classroom, the current control of student knowledge includes: a speech in class - from 5 to 7 points; additions to the speech - from 1 to 4 points; essential questions to the speakers (discourse) - from 1 to 3 points; reports and research papers - from 5 to 7 points; solving a case - from 2 to 5 points; two final (module) tests - from 5 to 7 points each (total: from 10 to 14 points).
The following are subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the answer; activity in the discussion of issues; systematic work in the classroom; results of homework, test results.
Seminars missed for valid reasons may be made up by the student.
A student who has not reached the minimum grade level (24 points) of the learning outcomes that can be assessed during the final examination may not be allowed to take part in the final examination.
