Learning outcomes
Achievement by students of such competencies, skills and abilities as: the ability to apply theoretical knowledge, to understand the profession of a housing law specialist; the ability to conduct comparative analysis and synthesis of housing law categories using information and communication technologies; the ability to exercise their rights and obligations in the housing sector; the ability to apply knowledge on the realization of the right to housing; the ability to understand and implement the rules of substantive and procedural law in resolving housing disputes.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main aspects of the historical formation and development of housing law and housing legislation, legal features and classification of housing relations, basic principles of implementation and methods of protection of housing rights, literature sources on housing law, legislation governing housing relations, case law, including ECtHR Be able to assess and determine the role and objectives of housing law, to determine housing relations, to give a legal description of housing rights. Have basic skills in working with educational and legal literature, the use of scientific methods of knowledge and legal methods of resolving controversial practical situations in the field of housing law.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting legal analysis of housing law and problematic issues related to the definition of housing relations, studying the theoretical and practical aspects of the emergence, implementation, termination and protection of human rights. Within the framework of the discipline the general characteristic of housing rights, the subject of regulation of housing relations is studied, the concepts, signs and purpose of housing are determined. The course of the discipline provides in-depth study by students of current housing legislation, judicial practice.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self study student work, problem solving
Assessment methods and criteria
Speech at the class - from 5 to 7 points; Essential questions to the speakers (discourse) - from 1 to 3 points; Reports and research papers - from 5 to 7 points;. Solving a case - from 2 to 5 points; Two final (module) tests - from 5 to 7 points each (total: from 10 to 14 points). The following are subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the answer; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; results of homework. Students can make up for seminars missed for valid reasons in extracurricular time (teacher's consultation time) by oral questioning, testing, and preparing a research report. A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final control may not be allowed to take the final assessment. The final assessment of student knowledge takes place during the written test (maximum score - 60).
