Learning outcomes
To know: the basic methods and technologies of hydeo-technical reclamation; the nature of changes in the regime and balance of groundwater during irrigation and drainage; drainage calculations methods; forecasting changes in hydrogeological conditions in reclaimed areas; the principles of hydrogeological and reclamation zoning. Be able to determine the indicators of hydrogeological- reclamation status of lands, to calculate sprinkling and irrigation rate, groundwater balance, to perform hydrogeological and engineering geological zoning for land reclamation purposes, to forecast the hydrogeological-reclamation state of the territory
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
To have basic knowledge of groundwater dynamics and aeration zone moisture transfer
Course content
Students gain knowledge about the patterns of formation and artificial regulation of hydrogeological conditions in irrigated, drained and adjacent lands.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical classes, independent work of students
Assessment methods and criteria
The control involves the implementation of practical work and 2 written tests. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written and oral exam. The results of students' learning activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. A student is not allowed to take the final grade if he/she scored less than 20 points during the semester. During the semester the student can score from 36 to 60 points. During the exam the student can get from 24 to 40 points
