The student must know: basics of functioning, characteristics, parameters of electromagnetic circuit elements of computer system devices and methods of analyzing processes in electromagnetic circuits.

The study of the discipline involves students' knowledge of information on "Mathematics", "Physics","Programming".
Course content
Calculation of parameters of linear electric circuits of direct current according to Kirchhoff's laws. Method of contour currents. Method of nodal potentials. Equivalent generator method. Linear electrical circuits of alternating current. Vector form of harmonic alternating current representation. Representation of harmonic oscillations by complex values. Analysis of an electric circuit with a different type of load. Ohm's and Kirchhoff's laws in alternating current circuits. Series and parallel connection of loads. Vector diagrams. Triangles of resistance, conductivity, voltage, current, power. Analysis of electric circuits with RC and RL type loads. Processes in electric circuits with serial connection of elements. Continuous oscillating circuit. Voltage resonance. Processes in electric circuits with parallel connection of elements. Parallel oscillating circuit. Current resonance. Transient processes in linear electric circuits of the first order. Laws of commutation. Forced and free component. Circles of the first order. Transient processes in RL circuits with a constant voltage source. Short circuit in the RL circuit with a source of constant voltage. Transient processes in RL circuits with an alternating voltage source. Transient processes in RC circuits with a constant voltage source. Transient processes in RC circuits with an alternating voltage source. The influence of parasitic capacities. Differentiating chains. Integrating chains. Transient processes in linear electric circuits of the second order. Free and forced components in transient processes in a series RLC circuit with a source of constant voltage.
