Prerequisites and co-requisites
Completion of practice requires the availability of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills acquired in courses of experimental and theoretical physics, in courses from special selective blocks. The student must know safety techniques when working with the relevant equipment. Educational practice by specialty is conducted separately from production at graduation departments.
Course content
Recommended or required reading and other learning resources/tools
Scientific publications, reviews and articles in scientific journals relevant to the subject of practice. They are provided individually by the head of the practice base.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
1. Setting goals/objectives of educational practice by specialty. 2. Acquaintance with the practice base and safety rules. 3. Acquaintance with literary sources on the subject of practical training. 4. Performance of practical, experimental tasks within practice. 5. Formation of a report on practice and presentation of results. 6. Protection of reports on scientific and industrial practice.
Assessment methods and criteria
The internship report is submitted after the end of the internship period during the department meeting. It is mandatory to have the text of the report, electronic presentation and feedback from the head of the practice base.
