Learning outcomes
Know the basic theoretical principles of pharmaceutical analysis, basic chemical and physico-chemical methods of identification, purity control and quantitative determination of medicinal substances. Know the basic principles of the organizational system of drug quality control. Use modern information and communication technologies for communication, as well as for collecting, analyzing, processing, and interpreting information in the field. To perform tasks and operations provided by the training program in cooperation with other performers. independently record, interpret and reproduce the results of the experiment. Observe safety rules when working in a chemical laboratory

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basic principles of analysis of organic and inorganic substances. Know the legislation of Ukraine in the sphere of circulation and quality control of medicinal products. Know the basics of chemical methods of analysis: gravimetry, titrimetry, spectrophotometry, chromatography. To know the main methods of sample preparation in the analysis of organic and inorganic substances.
Course content
The discipline is devoted to the assimilation of theoretical foundations, basic laws and chemical and physico-chemical methods of pharmaceutical analysis; assimilation of regulatory documentation, implementation procedure and methods of determining the quality of medicinal substances, medicinal products and medicinal forms.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester control includes work in practical classes, including oral examinations, tests and surveys on the topics of tests. Evaluation is carried out on a 100-point system. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester assessment is 100 points / 60 points.
