Learning outcomes
Before studying this course, students should know the main stages of development of ethical thought; methods of philosophical research, methods of psychology and basic ethical and philosophical concepts and categories.Be able to collect and interpret information on the dilemma of professional and corporate ethics in professional activities; apply the basic methodology of imperative-value aspects of professional practice.

Have basic research skills and integrated information research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting in relation to specific political, economic, cultural and professional events; use of foreign language professional information sources.
Course content
The discipline consistently considers the peculiarities of the development and formation of professional and corporate ethics and their urgency in modern professional practices. The subject, tasks, theoretical bases, methodologies, the basic directions of professional ethics are defined.Peculiarities of mastering the methods of data analysis of codes and their improvement, gaining understanding and belief in following the norms of professional ethics as a necessary condition for professional development are considered. The discipline is aimed at studying the professional ethics of chemistry. Attention is paid to the concepts of ethical and chemical orientation. Conceptual guidelines of chemistry ethics are considered. Current issues of various professional fields and directly related to the chemical industry are consistently considered. Special attention is paid to such issues that remain open for discussions at the regulatory level.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester control includes homework, tests and defense of practice work. The evaluation is based on a 100-point system. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester assessment is 80 points / 48 points. The final evaluation is conducted in the form of a test. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student on a credit of 20 points / 12 points.
