Have the basics of mathematical knowledge, including integration and differentiation at the bachelor's level.
Course content
In the course "Catalysis by metal complexes" the theoretical bases of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis by metal complexes are considered; mechanisms of catalytic action of metal complexes; application of metal-complex compounds in practice in homogeneous reactions. Heterogeneous metal complexes are considered, as well as the properties of the most widely used carriers, methods of heterogenization of transition metal complexes on the surface of carriers of different nature are given.
