Knowledge to understand key chemical concepts, essential facts, concepts, principles, and theories relating to natural sciences, life and earth sciences, as well as chemical technologies at a level sufficient for professional application and to enable further deep understanding of specialized fields of chemistry.
Р05. Knowledge to understand the relationship between structure and properties of substances.
Р10. Skill to apply basic principles of thermodynamics and chemical kinetics to solve professional tasks.
Р13. Skill to analyze and evaluate data, to synthesize new ideas concerning chemistry and its applications.
Р18. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of main facts, concepts, principles, and theories in chemistry.

"Materials Science in Inorganic Chemistry" is an integral part of the professional training of bachelor's degree specialists, requires successful mastering of the courses "General Chemistry", "Inorganic Chemistry", "Nature of Chemical Bonding", "Crystal Chemistry" and certain sections of "Physical Chemistry".

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester control includes work in practical classes, including oral examinations, tests and surveys on the topics of tests. Evaluation is carried out on a 100-point system. The maximum / minimum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the semester assessment is 100 points / 60 points.
