Learning outcomes
1.1. To know the scientific status, subject, genesis, basic concepts, concepts, structure and functions and theories of social management. 1.2. To know the laws, principles and mechanisms of formation and development of social management systems. 2.1. Be able to analyze the activities of various organizational structures and the behavior of management entities in modern conditions. 2.2. Be able to identify the main problems and mechanisms of functioning and trends in the development of organizational management systems. 3. Be able to organize and present an individual research project to study various aspects of the activities of management entities. 4. Be able to independently carry out analytical, research and exploration activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge about the basic principles of general sociology, logic and information technology in sociology. 2. Possession of basic skills of programming sociological research and the use of empirical methods of sociological analysis.
Course content
1. Scientific status, subject, functions and historical stages of development of social management. 2. Basic laws, principles, concepts and models of social management theory. 3. Organizational nature and technological principles of social management. 4. Structural and functional bases, forms and methods of social management. 5. Technologies of managerial decision-making in social management. 6. Criteria for measuring the effectiveness of social management.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, practical lesson, self-study work
Assessment methods and criteria
1. Evaluation of active work (oral answers, thematic reports, research tasks) during practical lessons. 2. Execution of two control works. 3. Implementation and presentation of the results of an individual research project. 4. Final assessment: written exam for a ticket containing 4 (four) topics.
