Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the course in OP "Bachelor". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of bioorganic chemistry and biochemistry of lipids, proteins and carbohydrates, enzyme biochemistry. 3. Possession of skills of work with devices used in practical biochemistry, calculation of concentrations and preparation of solutions.
Course content
The course acquaints the student with the mechanisms of the main signaling cascades of the cell (adenylate cyclase, guanylate cyclase, phosphoinositide), with the peculiarities of intracellular signaling with the participation of reactive oxygen species, gas transmitters NO, CO and H2S), inositol highlights the role of phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of tyrosine residues in the regulation of protein function. Particular attention is paid to signaling pathways initiated in the cell in response to the appearance of pathogens (signaling involving interferon).
