PLO 1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and foreign languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 3. Organize the process of learning and self-education. PLO 7. Understand the main problems of philology and approaches to their solution using appropriate methods and innovative approaches. PLO 10. To know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practice. PLO 12. Analyze linguistic units, determine their interaction and characterize linguistic phenomena and processes that determine them.

Course content
The discipline has a theoretical and practical character and contributes to the practical formation of future specialists in Turkic studies of the experience necessary for textual (lexical, syntactic) and discursive analysis of the monuments of the Ottoman written language. The content of the discipline provides students with an introduction to the Ottoman language; mastering the reading of Arabic texts; forming students' competencies to implement tasks in the field of comparative and textual analysis. Classes are held in the format of practical classes. The course ends with a test.
