Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and Turkish and English languages orally and in writing, and use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 5. Cooperate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, supporters of different political views, etc. PLO 11. To know the principles, technologies and techniques of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state and Turkish and English languages. PLO 14. To use Turkish and English, in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, informal, neutral), to solve communicative problems in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life. PLO 25.2. To use Turkish and English for effective intercultural communication, to have high-level communication skills in academic and business discourse in Turkish and English.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1.Know the main types of formal business documents. 2.Know the basic principles of analysis and evaluation criteria for the source text and lexical, grammatical, syntactic and stylistic problems of translation. 3.Be able to use in practice the knowledge of Turkish grammar and morphology at the intermediate level.
Course content
The course "Business Turkish" is included in the list of elective courses of the Linguistics and Translation program and is taught in the Uth semester of the bachelor's degree in accordance with the curriculum of the Turkish Language and Literature and Translation, English program. The course is an integral part of the formation of the professional competence of future specialists in the field of Turkish philology. This course builds on the foundation laid by other disciplines (Turkish: Intermediate Level, Turkish Lexicon), its purpose is to deepen knowledge of the specifics of business communication, to determine the role of information in business communication. The development of practical skills in mastering professional technologies is carried out by selecting the optimal forms and types of classes that are as close as possible to the future activities of translators. The course is taught during one semester and ends with a final exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
Modular test, individual assignment in the form of writing a letter, oral questioning, individual analysis of a document in a business style, final test, exam.
