Prerequisites and co-requisites
Possess knowledge, skills and abilities in the disciplines of the social and humanitarian cycle, such as "Introduction to University Studies" and others, - know the basic categories and concepts related to human and social life, - be able to identify, analyze educational and scientific information, draw reasonable conclusions on professional issues, - have basic skills in writing documents, correcting their content, systematizing the materials necessary for work, effectively organizing their own educational activities.
Course content
The discipline includes two substantive modules: Module 1 "Selected Sections of Labor Law" forms a set of knowledge and skills about: forms of realization of the right to work, types of undeclared labor; employment contract; working hours and rest periods; remuneration; labor protection; labor discipline, disciplinary and financial responsibility; protection of labor rights. Module 2: "Legislative basis of metrology: standardization, certification and technical regulation" forms a set of knowledge and skills of legal relations in various fields of metrological activity and systematic study of documents of legislative metrology on the basis of modern legislative and regulatory framework.

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation of students' work includes current control and semester control in the form of a test. The maximum amount of points that a student can gain during the course of study is 100 points, which are conditionally distributed 50/50 between the modules "Selected Sections of Labor Law" and "Legislative Bases of Metrology: Standardization, Certification and Technical Regulation". The minimum semester grade is 60 points.
