Prerequisites and co-requisites
Basic knowledge of the Ukrainian language. The student should have an elementary understanding of the general properties and patterns of the nature surrounding a person.
Course content
The course "Scientific Worldview" is aimed at providing students with basic knowledge of the formation and development of the scientific worldview and, like other general theoretical disciplines, should perform the main general educational and developmental function, which is to form the student's scientific worldview and develop modern forms of theoretical thinking and the ability to analyze natural phenomena. The discipline is designed to familiarize students of the university's humanities faculties with the history of the emergence and development of science in society, the achievements of its individual branches. The discipline should contribute to the formation of a modern scientific outlook in students, without which it is difficult to imagine the civilization of the XXI century.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Educational activities: lectures, independent work. Methods of work: demonstration and explanatory method, interactive methods: regulatory, instructional. Independent work with scientific sources. Search, partially search method. Theoretical methods (informative and explanatory, method of problematic presentation). Methods of educational discussion. Research methods. Activity-communicative and competence-based, instructional, active-communicative methods. Reproductive and productive methods.
Assessment methods and criteria
