Course content
The main purpose of the comprehensive final exam is to assess the level of professional translation, language and sociocultural competences of students, which determine the level of compliance of their knowledge with the requirements for professional translators.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The structure of the examination ticket. 1. Written translation from English to Ukrainian of a branch text and its translational analysis (up to 1400 printed characters). 2. Translation from a sheet of journalistic text (up to 800 printed characters) from Ukrainian to English and its translation analysis. 3. Interview on the proposed topic.
Assessment methods and criteria
According to the structure of the ticket, each type of task during the exam is evaluated by a clearly defined number of points, which in total is a maximum of 100 points. Written translation: A student can receive a maximum of 35 points for the specified type of translation. Translation from a sheet: For the specified type of translation, a student can receive a maximum of 35 points. Interview: For an interview on the proposed topic, a student can receive a maximum of 30 points.
