            PLO 7. Analyze, compare, and classify different directions and schools in linguistics. PLO 9. Characterize theoretical foundations (concepts, categories, principles, basic concepts, etc.) and applied aspects of the chosen philological specialization. PLO 10. To collect and systematize facts of language and literature and folklore to interpret and translate texts of various styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization). PLO 14. To create, analyze, and edit texts of various genres and styles. PLO 22.             The goal of the discipline is to deepen students' knowledge of genres as varieties of speech (artistic, scientific-technical, newspaper-publicistic, oratorical, etc.), which are determined by the conditions of their use, as well as the development of skills and skills (techniques) of their translation based on the competencies acquired during study general and partial theories of translation, as well as based on the main differentiating features of texts of different genres. Abstract of the academic discipline: The subject of study of the academic discipline is theoretical material related to the strategy of translation when establishing the genre differentiation of texts, as well as practical material intended for the formation of translation skills when reproducing in Ukrainian the specifics of original Italian-language texts of various genres, characterized by specific compositional, stylistic and other features) .

            Planned learning activities and teaching methods
        
        
            Acquaintance with special and genre theories of translation (domestic and foreign scientists), involvement of an interactive method for conducting professional discussions within the framework of course topics in the course of classroom work with the aim of further using the acquired knowledge for critical processing of special literature (including from Internet resources) at preparation for seminar classes. Help in the presentation of the results of independent work in the form of reports, messages, abstracts, theses of materials from the Internet in order to freely master the methods of processing, analysis and synthesis of scientific information. lectures, seminar classes; tasks assigned to independent work - preparation for lectures, seminar classes, essay presentation; answers to the blitz survey before the start of the lecture; oral answers at seminar classes (main answers and additions); defense of the presentation of the essay on the chosen topic of the discipline. 
        
    
            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            Semester assessment: credit. The distribution of points is carried out as follows: 75 points - during the semester and 25 points - credit. Evaluation criteria: oral answers, additions, participation in discussions at seminars, blitz surveys: RN 1.1 - 1.2, 2.1-2.2, 3, 4 - max. 20 points; translations of texts of various genres: РН1.1-1.2, 2.4, 3.1-3.2) - max. 10 points; writing an essay on the subject of the course and its defense\presentation: RN 1.1, 2.2, 3, 4 - max. 10 points; . the assessment consists of two tasks: a theoretical question and an analysis of the original text (genre, stylistic features); evaluation of all types of work is carried out in points, in accordance with the provisions of clause 7.1 of the RPND.
