Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know - basic concepts and terms of museum affairs; - the basics of Ukrainian legislation in the field of culture and museum affairs; - areas of activity and organizational structure of museum institutions; - the role of museum institutions in society; 2. To be able to - collect, systematize and present information about the experience of functioning of modern museum institutions; 3. Have elementary skills - work with scientific literature and source criticism; - use of foreign language professional sources; - scientific research and information management.
Course content
The discipline is an organic combination of legal and economic knowledge necessary for the formation of general competencies in specialists of any field and includes two meaningful modules: The module "Selected Sections of Labor Law" forms a set of knowledge and skills in the student of higher education about: forms of realization of the right to work, types of undeclared work; employment contract; working time and rest time; salary; labor protection; labor discipline, disciplinary and material responsibility; protection of labor rights. The module "Fundamentals of entrepreneurial activity" forms a set of knowledge and skills in a higher education student about: entrepreneurship: forms, business models and ethical principles; technologies for creating one's own business; sources of formation and assessment of the effectiveness of the use of resources in entrepreneurial activity; assessment of business results; commercialization of ideas (products), sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, seminars, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of student points is formed by the semester points received from all topics of two content modules (points received for modular control papers (in the form of tests); points received for completing individual tasks; points received for work in seminar classes, as well as points which are received for the final control work. The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. The criteria for evaluating a student's answer are: • complete disclosure of the issue • the logic of presentation • use of basic and additional literature • analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions
