            To know and understand: the intellectual and socio-cultural purpose of philosophy, its cognitive and cultural potential, historical role. structure of philosophical knowledge, diversity and features of philosophical disciplines. Be able to: logically, consistently and reasonably orally and in writing express opinions on major philosophical problems in the context of modern socio-cultural processes, which provides the ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis Communication: the ability to participate in intellectual discussions, present the results of intellectual work and independent work in the form of reports, messages, essays, presentations, abstracts; Autonomy and responsibility: to find the necessary information from different sources, to organize it, to assess its reliability

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            Before studying this discipline, students must know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; have basic factual knowledge of humanitarian and social sciences. Be able to collect and interpret information on phenomena and phenomena of society, social processes and events; apply basic concepts in the analysis of social, political, economic, legal phenomena and processes; to identify modern features of the coexistence of human communities and societies in the context of globalization; plan and evaluate their own work; use interactive and multimedia tools. Have skills in working with humanitarian texts; production of complex oral and written messages; interaction and cooperation in learning, search situations.

            Philosophy as a phenomenon. Philosophy and worldview. Philosophy as a system of knowledge and thinking. Categories of philosophy, their content and functions. The main stages of development of philosophical thought. Philosophical doctrine of being. Man as a subject of philosophical understanding. Philosophy of consciousness. Epistemology. Philosophy and methodology. Philosophical understanding of the historical process. Society as a subject of philosophy. Philosophical understanding of political life.
