As a result of studying the discipline, the student must learn the techniques and methods of teaching skills; to create a holistic view of various forms, methods and methods of teaching history, to be able to navigate in the methodological environment of historical science, to be able to participate in a dialogue on the methods of teaching historical disciplines.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: special historical terminology, categorical and conceptual apparatus, a diverse range of opinions and views that exist in the modern methodology of teaching history. Be able to: implement in practice the models of conducting classroom and extracurricular educational activities. Possess: techniques and methods of ensuring the implementation of the educational process of the institution of higher education, according to regulatory documents.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, seminars, and independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course. Content module 1 (CM1) includes topics 1-7, and content module 2 (CM2) - topics 8-13.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of student knowledge success is carried out in two forms: semester assessment (tests, oral survey, oral review and presentation) and final assessment (exam). The total number of points is 100 points (of which, the semester assessment is a maximum of 60 points; the final assessment (exam) is a maximum of 40 points). The evaluation criteria are: • complete disclosure of the issue; • the logic of presentation; • use of basic and additional literature; • analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions.
