Learning outcomes
PLO1. To communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and foreign languages orally and in writing, to use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO2. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO10. To know the norms of literary language and be able to apply them in practice. PLO11. To know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state and foreign languages. PLO 21.2. To use a third foreign language in the practice of communication in everyday life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
TSuccessful mastery of basic reading, writing and phonics skills. A1 level of Spanish language proficiency.
Course content
The aim is to familiarize students with the norms of literary Spanish on the basis of texts and audio and video materials of general cultural orientation, as well as oral information messages; to develop oral and written communication skills in Spanish for further fluent communication on the international plane, as well as skills of translation of Spanish-language literature of general cultural orientation into Ukrainian for better understanding of cultural aspects of the third foreign language. At this stage, it is important for students to master the grammatical component of the third foreign language, the topics of which are determined by the program, for further successful communication between students and native Spanish speakers. 13. Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, students are evaluated according to the types of work and the form of control. The grade is based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment measures. Students who score the minimum positive number of points - 60 - receive "passed". Students who do not score the minimum positive score of 60 points receive a "fail" grade. Students who have scored a total of less than 60 points during the semester must pass the test by completing the material on the topics for which they have a debt in the form of writing independent works on the topics studied during the semester or, if necessary, write a test.
