PR01. Know the state and foreign languages ​​at a level sufficient for communication on professional issues and presentation of the results of their own research. PR02. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Cytology", "Histology", "General Embryology", "Genetics", "Biochemistry", "Molecular Biology". 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge and skills in molecular, genetic, cellular, embryological fields to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of cell cultivation.
Course content
The discipline is a basic practical embryological discipline, which covers standard methods of collection and preparation of gametes for fertilization, different types of fertilization, embryo cultivation in vitro, evaluation of their quality and methods of cryopreservation of biological material; as well as current issues: reproductive donation, cytoplasmic donation, surrogacy, stem cell use, etc. The study of the discipline is necessary to improve knowledge and practice consolidation of skills and abilities in work in embryological laboratories of various directions - scientific institutions, reproductive clinics and breeding institutions farm and domestic animals.
