Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: 1.1 the main trends in civilization as the highest stage of evolution of the social form of motion of matter; 1.2 main periods in the history of world civilizations, their differences, defining events and phenomena; 1.3 main directions of transformations of socio-economic and socio-political relations in the leading cultural and historical communities; 1.4 mental features of representatives of local civilizations; 1.5 the relationship and interaction of civilizations at different stages of development of the world community. 2. Be able to: 2.1 understand the importance of natural conditions and religious factors to determine the specifics of individual civilizations; 2.2 analyze the processes of formation and development of individual civilizations from ancient times to the present; 2.3 to form adequate ideas about modern realities in which historical factors are reflected and continue to be reflected.
Course content
Coverage of the development of world history from antiquity to the present day. Isolation of general trends in human development, revealing the specifics of their impact on human existence in local civilizations that have existed and exist on Earth. Identification of the leading factors that determine the processes of civilization at the present stage, as well as their impact on the progress of the world community, Europe, Ukraine.
