Learning outcomes
PR4. Have professional knowledge to solve problems of organization and management of horticulture.
PR16. On the basis of in-depth knowledge of natural sciences to form an idea of biodiversity conservation to increase productivity, increase sustainability and ecological plasticity of artificial phytocenoses and natural ecosystems in modern urban landscapes under global climate change.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic concepts and terms related to phytoecology, phytocenology, ecology of landscapes.
2. Know the features of the structure, growth, development of plants in natural and anthropogenic landscapes, the basics of formation and development of plant communities in different landscape complexes.
3. Know the basic principles of conservation and reproduction of natural complexes, the basics of conservation of the gene pool of the biosphere, its biodiversity through the creation of protected areas and protected areas.
4. To be able to assess and measure the main factors influencing changes in landscapes, to map vegetation, to determine the boundaries of phytocenoses, their composition and importance in the formation of landscape natural complexes.
Course content
Modern ideas about the system of living organization and the role of plants in the functioning of natural ecosystems under different environmental factors, the possibility of diagnosing the condition of plants under adverse conditions, the processes of adaptation of plants to different environmental factors. Possibilities of reproduction of anthropogenically disturbed landscapes are shown. Issues of environmental measures aimed at preserving natural landscapes are highlighted.
