PLO 4. Know and understand theoretical approaches to the definition of culture, its manifestations and forms of existence. PLO 7. To understand the factors of ethnocultural dynamics, principles of periodization of ethnocultural processes, their specific features and characteristics. PRN 10. Recognize and classify different types of ethno-cultural products, determine their quality characteristics based on comprehensive analysis.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting the study of this discipline, students should know the historical development of religions, the understanding of religion as a component of spiritual culture, and the ethnic characteristics of religions. Be able to work with various sources of educational and scientific information, process it, make generalizations and conclusions. Possess Elementary Skills of Scientific Research; search and processing of educational and scientific information.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to ensure mastery of the methodological foundations of the study of religion and familiarization with important issues of the history of religion, in particular, the formation, development and current state of world religions, consideration of them as components of spiritual culture and their influence both on the progress of civilization in general and on the worldview and worldview of each a person Abstract. The discipline acquaints students with the methodological orientations of the study of religion, the essence and features of world religions, their historical transformations, their place and significance in the modern socio-cultural space. The foundations of religious activity are clarified and the socio-cultural dynamics of religious life are investigated. The main religious teachings are considered, the general trend of the development of religions is outlined. The mutual influence of religion and other spheres of human life is explained. Considerable attention is paid to the ethno-cultural features of world religions, which are widespread in other countries as well as on the territory of Ukraine.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course includes 2 content parts. The first part of the course is "Basic concepts, problems of the course "World Religions". The second part of the course is "History and current state of world religions." Forms of education: lectures, seminars, independent work. Throughout the semester, after the lectures on the relevant topics, seminar classes are held, which are evaluated according to the types of work (oral answer, supplement, report at a scientific seminar, blitz survey, participation in discussions at lectures and seminar classes, intermediate control test, credit) . The last seminar is held no later than the last lecture week, at which students present an independently prepared report on one of the topical problems of modern religious studies
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge) - 40% of the total assessment, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills, communication, autonomy and responsibility - 60% of the overall assessment . Evaluation of the semester work: oral response, additions, participation in discussions at lectures and seminars, blitz survey, intermediate control test: 35/55 points. Presentation of the report seminar: 11/25 b. The overall grade for the semester consists of points obtained for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on processing theoretical material for classroom preparation: oral answers, additions, blitz surveys, intermediate control tests, report presentation) and for independent work (preparation of a report ).
