PRN 9. To analyze the effectiveness of cultural policies, technologies for the implementation of cultural ideas in the context of specific parameters of their implementation. PRN 12. To justify, develop and implement ethno-cultural events and projects in compliance with the legislation and in accordance with the defined goals and objectives. PRN 17. 1. To manage, promote and organize an ethno-cultural event. (under the block "Management of ethno-cultural projects").

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before studying the discipline the student should: know the regional specifics of folk culture, the material culture of the Ukrainians, Ukrainian folk decorative and applied art, and folk ritual and non-ritual culture; be able to collect, organize and archive folklore and ethnographic material; to be able to identify and distinguish objects of intangible and material cultural heritage of Ukraine have elementary skills of abstracting a scientific text.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to form, develop and deepen students' knowledge about the main centers of folk culture, the work of ethnographic museums, open-air museums of Ukraine, specific features of tourist local history, the possibilities of using folklore tools in tourism activities; to study the objects of tangible and intangible cultural heritage as an important resource for tourism promotion. Annotation. In view of Ukraine's membership in the World Tourism Organization, participation in the Intergovernmental Committee for the Preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO, which involves scientific research, development and popularization of attractive objects to satisfy tourist demand, the training of folklorists who possess folklore knowledge and basics of tourism and local history. In the modern conditions of globalization of the society, the ways of developing national self-awareness and preserving national identity lie through the processes of awareness and understanding of the traditions, customs and rites of our ancestors. Traditional culture plays one of the most important roles in this case.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course includes 2 content parts. The first part "Ethnic tourism as a way of popularizing the country's identity" is devoted to theoretical issues of ethnic tourism, compares Ukrainian and international experience of promoting ethnic tourism, studies the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the development of ethnic tourism, outlines the prospects for the development of this type of tourism. The second part "Innovative types of tourism and ways of promotion of ethno-cultural product" has an applied nature, covers those vectors of ethno-tourism that most clearly emphasize its national character. The following forms of education are provided: lectures, practical classes, 3 presentations, 1 test. Throughout the semester, after lectures on relevant topics, practical sessions are held, at which evaluation is carried out according to the types of work (oral response, performance of an individual task – presentations etc.). The discipline ends with an exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides two-level assessment of the learned material, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge) – 40% of the total mark, and assessment of practical training – learning outcomes (skills, communication, autonomy and responsibility) – 60% of the total mark. Assessment of the semester work: oral answer at the practical lessons – 28/14 points, doing individual tasks – 14/10 points, writing a control test – 18/12 points. The general mark for the semester consists of the points obtained for the classroom work, which also synthesizes independent work on studying theoretical material in order to prepare for the classroom work: oral answers at the practical lessons, a control test. All the types of the work for the semester have a total of 60/36 points. The discipline ends with an exam in the form of a written test (40 / 24 points).
