Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of courses: "Oriental Language: Intermediate Level" (in particular, proper mastery of lexical and grammatical material studied in the second year and mastery of basic skills of language and speech competence). 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of general linguistics, phonetics of the modern Vietnamese language; 3. Knowledge of the lexical base that meets the requirements of the course "Oriental Language: Intermediate Level"; 4. The ability to conduct a conversation in Vietnamese that meets the requirements of the course "Oriental Language: Intermediate Level".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Training activities during the semester: practical classes conducted with the use of interactive teaching methods, and individual work. The main types of activities and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: writing lexical dictations, writing works, listening, speaking (oral topic), answering a practical lesson, test work with open answers. Detailed planned educational activities and teaching methods are presented in the work program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the mastered material, including theoretical training, which is 40% of the total assessment, and practical training, which is 60% of the total assessment. The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student for classroom activities and for individual work. The minimum score for the semester is 36 points, while the maximum score equals 60. Final assessment: exam. The exam is conducted in the form of written work with open answers to two practical tasks (each of which is evaluated by max. 15 points) and oral answer on a conversational topic (max. 10 points).
