Learning outcomes
1.1. To know the theoretical foundations of research on urbanization and its cultural component;
1.2. Know the principles, social conditions and mechanisms of sustainable development of large cities;
2.1. Be able to work with social information, sociological research data on various aspects of functioning of large cities;
2.2. Be able to identify, analyze and interpret current social problems related to the ecology of the city;
2.3. Be able to interpret data and visual presentation of results in international and national reports on issues of urban culture;
3.1. Communicate the results of independent research work.

Know the basics of sociological analysis of culture.
To be able to formulate conclusions and ideas, critically discuss, present and discuss one's own position regarding the chosen topical issue.
Have basic skills in searching and selecting information from open data sources.

1. Methodologies for the study of urban culture.
2. Cultural landscape of a big city.
3. Discourses of cultural development of modern cities.
4. Environmental culture: regional centers, large cities, small towns.
5 Sociological prediction of urban culture.
