Learning outcomes
PR7. Describe and analyze the principles of structural and functional organization, mechanisms of regulation and adaptation of organisms to the influence of various factors. PR10. Present the results of scientific work in writing (in the form of a report, scientific publications, etc.) and orally (in the form of reports and defense of the report) using modern technologies, argue their position in the scientific discussion. PR19. Solve scientific-theoretical, research and applied problems of biology by appropriate methods. PR39. Be able to use existing and develop new algorithms for research of various physiological states of the human and animal body, which arise under certain conditions of existence on the basis of modern data on physiological mechanisms underlying life.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses "Cytology", "Biochemistry", "Anatomy and physiology of man and animals", "Physiology of blood", "Physiology of blood circulation", "Physiology of respiration", "Physiology of digestion", "Physiology of the excretory system". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of cytology, biochemistry, physiology and anatomy, etc. disciplines, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have the skills to independently search for information and summarize it.
Course content
The discipline "Physiology of work and sports" is a basic physiological discipline that studies the response of systems and organs of the human body to work and sports loads. Methods and techniques of research in occupational physiology can be used both in research of related sciences (sports physiology, psychophysiology) and in interdisciplinary sciences (environmental physiology, ergonomics, engineering psychology).
