            In defense of the bachelor's thesis, the student's mastery of the following learning outcomes is confirmed:
Use the conceptual apparatus of sociology in educational, research and other areas of professional activity.
Explain the patterns and features of development and functioning of social phenomena in the context of professional tasks.
Justify one's own position, make and argue independent conclusions based on the results of research and analysis of professional literature.
Be able to develop a program of sociological research.
Have the skills to collect social information using quantitative and qualitative methods.
Present the results of their own research to professionals and non-specialists.
Know and adhere to the ethical norms of professional activity of a sociologist.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            The required amount of WRC for the bachelor's degree is 60-80 thousand characters, including spaces (30-45 pages of text), excluding the title page, content, list of sources and applications used. The list of used sources must contain at least 15 references to special literature on sociology (scientific books, monographs, articles, analytical and statistical collections and reports). In the list of used sources at least 50% of references should be to publications published in the last 10 years
Works containing plagiarism are not allowed to be protected
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The work must contain:
Title page
Table of contents - with a link to the page numbers where the relevant sections begin.
Introduction - where the object, subject, purpose and objectives of the research should be clearly defined.
Two or more sections of the main part, which should set out the main content of the work. Each section should end with conclusions on the section
Conclusions in which the results of the work should be formulated and the correspondence of the obtained results to the set tasks of the research
List of used sources - designed in accordance with the requirements
Applications - if necessary

            Independent work, consultations with the supervisor, recommendation of the department.
        
    
            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            The work must be performed in the state language. Literacy and correct use of special terminology are taken into account when evaluating the work.
The defense of the Bachelor's degree (final qualification work) is carried out at a meeting of the examination commission (EC), appointed by order of the rector, in accordance with the schedule of qualifying exams and defense of qualifying papers, approved by the Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching. Admission of the Bachelor's WRC to the defense at a meeting of the EC is by order of the dean on the basis of the submission of the department.
The maximum number of points that can be obtained by the applicant for the defense of the Bachelor's WRC - 100. Works that are evaluated by the commission less than 60 points are considered those whose defense did not take place.
