Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of lecture and practical / seminar / laboratory material classes in compulsory subjects of the program, which are taught to students educational level "Bachelor" in the first year. 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics. 3. Possession of basic skills in the use of laboratory equipment and reagents for experimental research / development in a particular field of biotechnology / biology.
Course content
Biotechnology internships are a mandatory educational component of the Biotechnology professional program, which aims to consolidate and deepen the theoretical knowledge acquired by the student, as well as the student acquires the necessary skills and competencies for experimental research / development in various fields of biotechnology and related fields. During the internship the student gets an idea of ​​the methodology scientific research, gets acquainted with the principles of planning and conducting experiments, methods of biological research, rules of processing and presentation of scientific results, algorithms for searching scientific literature and its critical thinking. An important component of the practice is the formation of the student's idea of ​​the organization of research / technological development and biotechnological production in Ukraine and the world.
