Course content
The discipline is basic for preparing students for independent research work, including statistical processing of data obtained during the thesis. The discipline is designed to form an idea of ​​the basic principles of evidence-based medicine as a set of methodological approaches in research, evaluation and application of results, as well as methods of statistical analysis of biomedical data and requirements for presentation of their results in scientific publications. ICMJE journals. As a result of successful mastering of the course, students will acquire skills of independent processing of medical and biological data in the application package Statistica 6.0 (StatSoft, USA).
