Course content
The discipline "Computational Mathematics and Programming" focuses on teaching algorithmic thinking, understanding the basic principles of mathematical modeling and approximate methods of solving mathematical problems used for modeling.
Recommended or required reading and other learning resources/tools
1. Glinsky YM, Anokhin VE, Ryazhsky VA - C ++ and C ++ Builder. Lviv, 2005. - 192 p
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture with the use of software projects, independent work
Assessment methods and criteria
- semester assessment: The current control during the modules is based on the evaluation of the final ones the results of practical work. Because practical work covers the whole amount of theoretical training and control the level of elaboration of independent tasks, some modular tests are not conducted and some points for performance of independent work is not charged. Grades for the module are derived by listing the sum of grades for all practical work module (rated on a 10-point scale) to the value of the module. 1. Module 1 - pH 1.1; 1.2; 2.1; 2.2; 2.3 - 30 points / 15 points 2. Module 2 - pH 1.3, 1.4; 2.4; 3.1 - 30 points / 15 points Final assessment: in the form of an exam
