Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: methodology, technologies and methods of research in the political sphere; features of the use of research methods in applied political and psychological research; principles of organizing, preparing and conducting research in the political sphere. To be able to: collect, analyze and explain the research and diagnostic information in the process of conducting research in the political sphere; adequately use research methods in the activities of a political psychologist. To have: technologies for developing research programs in the political sphere; develop tools for research in the political sphere; organize and conduct research in the political sphere; develop research programs for the formation of image strategies; develop research programs to accompany election campaigns.
Course content
The goal is to acquaint students with the basic methodological principles and methods of psychosemantic research of political consciousness, the features of the construction and organization of psychosemantic research in the political sphere, a set of approaches, methods, techniques and procedures of modern technologies of psychosemantic research in politics. The study of the discipline provides: 1) the acquisition by students of the necessary knowledge about the current state and prospects for the use of psychosemantic methods in the political sphere; 2) to acquaint with the methodology of psychosemantic studies of political consciousness; 3) mastering the skills of using psychosemantic methods; 4) development of students' skills and abilities to use modern technologies of psychosemantic research; 5) the formation of professional thinking among students, the ability to carry out a psychosemantic analysis of political consciousness.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, reports, discussions, work in mini-groups, case studies, tests, project assignments, creative assignments.
Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: the final number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of mastering the material on all 7 topics of two content modules, completing tasks for individual work and individual creative work during the semester. Organization of assessment: final assessment in the form of an exam: the maximum number of points in the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points attached to the semester is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the exam). Students who scored during the semester a total of fewer points than the critically calculated minimum of 20 points are not allowed to take the exam. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 38 points. Grading scheme: - Excellent (90-100 scores) - Good (75-89 scores) - Satisfactory (60-74 scores) - Fail (0-59 scores)
